Virtual Card Application 

Individuals who physically reside or own property in Hall County are eligible to apply for a Grand Island Public Library Virtual Card.

 

If you currently have a library account, there is no need  to apply for virtual access, you already have access to all of our online services.

 

If you do not know your PIN, please call the Library at 308-385-5333 to have it reset. 

 

To have immediate access to our digital services, you must include an email address in your application. You will receive an email with your library card number soon after submitting your application. Use the provided number plus the 4-digit PIN that you set on the application for access to our services. Physical cards will be mailed to the address provided. 

 

Card applications will be processed during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

To be able to checkout physical items (when the Library is open) such as DVDs, books, and other materials, you must stop at the front desk with a current photo ID and proof of address to upgrade to a full account.

 

Virtual Cards will be valid for 3 months.
